PLENTY OF VIEWING SPOTS AND ROOM TO PARK WITH MORE THAN 60 VACANT LOTS ALONG THE 7 MILE PARADE ROUTE.

TO BEST ENJOY THE PARADE, BRING THESE ESSENTIAL ITEMS

  • Folding chairs

  • Warm clothing and or blankets - it can get cold very quickly after dark

  • Bring along a copy of the route chart to best find your way, link to chart.

  • It is essential to bring noisemakers to make a joyful noise and cheer for your favorite boats

  • Sleigh Bells

  • Tambourines

  • Cow bells

  • CHEERING AND APPLAUSE ARE REQUIRED!!!

PROJECTILES: No candy or other objects are to be thrown to the boats.

 

Boaters who want to view the parade from their boats can find many places to anchor on the wide western end of the rim canal.  Come in Ponce Inlet until you arrive at Punta Gorda Isles.  Turn right on the broad canal on the right, the Rim Canal.  Anchor anywhere along the mangroves that is suitable,  BUT TUCK IN CLOSE AND TAKE EXTRA CARE TO ALLOW THE PARADE PARTICIPANTS A WIDE BERTH FOR NAVAGATION.
